Rooted In Health & Wellness

The Utah Pacific Islander Health Coalition (UPIHC) seeks to improve quality of life for Pacific Islanders and the communities they live in throughout the state of Utah through health promoting efforts including public health education, preventive wellness services, and health policy advocacy.

We provide education through a robust network of coalition member organizations ranging from individual health advocates and independent fitness consultants to government agencies and institutions of higher learning.

Pacific Health 5K

Saturday September 17, 2022

This year marks our 10th Annual Pacific Health 5K event (formerly called the MANA 5K to our regulars). We are dedicated to helping our Utah Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander's build a healthier community, one step at a time!

Free T-shirts are provided for the first 100 registrants.

Healthy 2022

The 2022 Our Health and Our Safety is Our Legacy campaign was launched at the end of last year to ring in the new year. As we are still facing the Covid-19 pandemic, our Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander community in Utah is greatly impacted by it (2.3 times more likely to be hospitalized). Which is why it is important that we have adequate access and information to health resources.
